Privacy Policy

Contact and enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of the message you send through our forms, by email, or when booking a discovery call.

Test cut requests — the details you give us about your footage, platform and goal, and any clip or download link you share so we can cut a sample.

Project material — briefs, raw footage, audio, scripts, graphics, brand assets, reference links, review comments and other files you or your team upload or send to us so that we can carry out the work.

People who appear in footage — faces, voices and likenesses of presenters, actors, staff or customers contained in the material you send us. We process this only to produce the work you have commissioned.

Billing details — company billing name and address, invoice records and payment references. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.

Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies and embedded video players.

To respond to you — replying to enquiries, test cut requests, emails and booked meetings.

To deliver the work — editing, grading, sound, motion design, AI-assisted creation, review rounds, format versioning and final delivery, and communicating with your team during a project.

To run our business — quoting, invoicing, taking payment, keeping accounting records and enforcing contracts.

To improve the website — understanding which pages and work samples people find useful, and fixing problems.

To show our work — only where you have agreed in writing, featuring finished projects in our showreel, on this site, or on our Vimeo channel. You can withdraw this permission at any time.

Ownership — you keep all rights in the material you send us and in the finished deliverables once paid for. We claim no ownership in either.

Use — we open, edit and store your material only to carry out the work you have commissioned. We do not publish, share or repurpose it without written permission.

Unreleased content — embargoed, pre-launch or under-NDA projects are handled on restricted access and are never shown in our reel or portfolio until you have released them publicly and approved their use.

AI tools — where a project uses AI-assisted generation or enhancement, your footage is processed only to produce your deliverable. We select tools that do not retain client material for model training, and we will tell you which tools are used on request.

People in your footage — obtaining consent or release from anyone who appears in the material you supply is your responsibility as the party who filmed or owns it.

Deletion — you can ask us to delete project files at any time after final delivery, and we will confirm when it is done.

Performance of a contract — where the information is needed to quote for, carry out or invoice production work, including a free test cut.

Consent — for featuring your project in our portfolio, and for analytics cookies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legitimate interests — to answer enquiries, secure our systems, and understand how the website is used, balanced against your privacy.

Legal obligation — to keep tax, accounting and company records for the periods the law requires.

Essential — needed for the site, forms and meeting booking to function. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics — Google Analytics or an equivalent tool, used in aggregate to measure traffic and page performance.

Embedded video — work samples on this site are streamed from Vimeo. When a player loads, Vimeo may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and playback data under Vimeo's privacy policy. Videos hosted directly on this site do not send data to third parties.

Scheduling — the discovery call booking tool is provided by a third-party scheduling service, which processes the details you enter under its own policy.

Hosting and file transfer — the platforms that host the website, receive your uploads and store project files during a job.

Review and delivery — the tools we use to share cuts for review and deliver finished files, including Vimeo for private review links where you agree to it.

Analytics — Google, for the purposes described above.

Email and scheduling — the tools we use to send mail and meeting invitations.

Payments — our payment processor and bank, for invoicing and settlement.

Freelance specialists — occasionally a colorist, sound designer or animator outside our core team, working under a confidentiality agreement and only with the material needed for their part.

Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, auditors or regulators, where we are required to disclose information by law.

Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months from your last contact with us.

Test cut footage — deleted within 30 days of sending you the sample, unless the project goes ahead.

Client footage, project files and deliverables — for the duration of the engagement and up to 6 months after final delivery, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or your contract sets a different period.

Contracts, invoices and accounting records — for as long as tax and company law requires, normally at least 6 years.

Portfolio use — until you withdraw permission.

Analytics data — in aggregated or pseudonymised form, according to the retention settings of the tool, normally no more than 26 months.

Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Delete information or footage we no longer have a reason to keep.

Restrict or object to a particular use of your information, including portfolio use of your project.

Withdraw consent you previously gave, for example to non-essential cookies.

Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider.
